About me

As a Cultural Care local childcare consultant (LCC), I invite our host families and au pairs as well as those considering Cultural Care Au Pair to explore my site and learn about what is going on in our community. I provide year-round support to host families and au pairs, and also talk to families considering the program to help them determine if Cultural Care Au Pair is the right childcare solution for them.

I am a mother of three boys and a native Long Islander. I have enjoyed living  on the East End for almost thirty years. My husband and I relied on au pair childcare when the boys were young. It was a perfect fit for our high energy kids and ever changing schedule.

I am currently pursuing a Master’s of Library Science at Queens College with the goal of working in Children’s and Young Adult Services.

I have been happy to have stayed involved with the au pair program in the role of Local Childcare Consultant.  I enjoy helping families fit the program into their lives and support the au pairs throughout their program term.   My goal is help all participants in being successful and making lifelong connections.
